The owner of Railcar Field Services, Inc. is DeWitt Duke. He began his Railcar Repair and Maintenance career in March of 2002. He has hands-on experience at all levels in this specialized field. He started as a "Carman" on the shop floor and quickly advanced to shop foreman, 1500-mile ABT inspector, Bad Order/ Inbound inspector, and shift supervisor. He also gained significant experience in the areas of purchasing/inventory and plant management.
This means he is more than familiar with all aspects of the industry. He has built relationships with many car owners and fleet managers over the years and therefore understands their needs and concerns. This allows RFS to provide personalized service to each one.
Diana Duke began her work with Railcar Field Services, Inc. in a behind-the-scenes supporting role. She is now becoming more directly involved with the administrative and hands-on aspects of the business. To enhance her skills, she has now enrolled in Railcar Repair 101. Her goal is to broaden her ability to get the work done in a timely manner without sacrificing safety and quality.
She is bi-lingual (English and Spanish) – an important asset in today’s environment.
